Morocco has grabbed an overwhelming victory against Belgium in the World Cup 2022.
The Group F match at the Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar ended with the Moroccans walking over Belgium with two goals to zero.
The first half came to a close without a goal after Morocco’s opening goal was denied by VAR.
In the second half, Abdelhamid Sabiri put the Moroccans ahead through a stunning free-kick within 73 minutes of action.
Belgium was in charge of possession but finding the net was a problem.
Zakaria Aboukhlal extended Morocco’s lead to two with his 92nd-minute strike.
Morocco is on top of Group F for now with four points. Belgium is second with three points, Croatia follows with one point, while Canada is in the fourth position with no points.
The next Group F match will be between Croatia and Canada.
