Mexico And Saudi Arabia Are Eliminated From World Cup 2022 After A 2-1 Result

Mexico and Saudi Arabia have been eliminated from the World Cup 2022.

The Group C match ended with the Mexicans winning 2-1 against the Saudis.

Henry Martín put the Mexicans ahead in the 47th minute.

Luis Chávez scored Mexico’s second goal after 52 minutes of action.

The Saudis got a consolation goal from Salem Al-Dawsari in the 90+5 minutes.

Based on this scoreline, Argentina topped Group C of the World Cup 2022 with six points, Poland with four, Mexico had four points and Saudi Arabia fourth with three points.

Poland qualified ahead of Mexico because of a goal difference.

This was after Argentina won 2-0 against Poland.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia stunned Argentina in their first group match with a 2-1 victory.
