The National Identification Authority (NIA) Sunyani West District Office has honoured Mr Ransford Antwi, CEO of Suncity Radio with a citation in recognition of his effort in allocating an office space for the authority to carry out their activities.
Mr Ebenezer Koranteng, the District Registration Officer, NIA, Sunyani West, in an interaction with Suncity Radio recounted how helpful the office space allocated to them has been in carrying out their day-to-day activities for the past year.
According to him, the initial office space allocated to them was not spacious enough to accommodate the number of people who trooped in on daily basis hence they needed an additional office space to help them work effectively and Mr Antwi came in to help.
“Mr Antwi offered us the office space without taking any money from us and even offered to pay all bills which were incurred by the authority during our stay. We appreciate his support and we are here to say thank you to him,” he stated.
Mr Koranteng encouraged others who are well-to-do in society to emulate Mr Antwi’s kind gesture.
In an acceptance speech, Mr Ransford Antwi mentioned that he is always ready to help his community and the needy in society, once he can afford it and further thanked the NIA for their thoughtful act.
Mr Ranford Antwi is a philanthropist whose passion and love for his community, city and region knows no bounds, and who has embarked on various activities that seek to address the welfare of the less privileged in society.
He recently organized a medical outreach program which saw hundreds of people benefiting from it.
