Morocco has topped the Group F of the World Cup 2022 with seven (7) points after beating Canada.

They won 2-1 against Canada at the Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Hakim Ziyech put the Moroccans ahead in the 4th minute of the game.

Youssef En-Nesyri scored the second goal for Morocco after 23 minutes of playtime.

Unfortunately, Morocco’s centre-back, Nayef Aguerd, scored an own goal in the 40th minute to make it 2-1.

Morocco’s first Group match with Croatia ended in a stalemate. In their second match, Morocco defeated Belgium 2-0.
