Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has finally explained why he did not show up at his concert in Accra.
Fans, who purchased tickets to attend the event at the Accra Sports Stadium, bitterly complained.
They asked the organizers for a refund.
The organizers also replied to refund their monies in a statement. They claimed the Nigerian musician breached his contractual obligation.
A few hours after this, Wizkid has apologized to the people he disappointed.
He stated that safety and production issues prevented him from performing at the event.
Wizkid promised to host a show for his fans in Ghana on a date which is yet to be announced.
