Kyle Jacobs, the husband of American singer and songwriter, Kellie Pickler, has died.
He was found dead at their home in Nashville.
This was sadly revealed by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
The sad incident happened on Friday, February 17, 2023.
Kyle Jacobs passed on at the age of 42.
When called to the home of the couple, the police gathered that the “deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom/office.” They added that “his death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.”
The police further stated: “Mr. Jacobs’ wife, Kellie Pickler, reported that she awoke a short time earlier, did not see her husband, and began looking for him. After she and her personal assistant were unable to open the door to the upstairs bedroom/office, the assistant telephoned 911.”
Reacting to his sad demise, the Academy of Country Music in a tweet seen by Newshuntermag.com wrote: “The Academy is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kyle Jacobs, a talented Nashville songwriter & producer and the husband of Kellie Pickler.”
They added: “In 2014 Jacobs won an ACM Award as producer of Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck.” Join us in sending condolences, love & healing.”
For their part, Country Music Television tweeted: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Kellie Pickler and the rest of the Jacobs family.”
Kellie Pickler and Jacobs got married in 2011. The couple co-starred on I Love Kellie Pickler from 2015 to 2017.
