Soundcity MVP Awards 2023 Held; Check Out The Full List Of Winners As Ghana’s Black Sherif Grabs An Award
The 2023 edition of the Soundcity MVP Awards have been held in Nigeria.
It took place at the Eko Convention Centre on February 11, 2023, in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event had performances from Gyakie, Arya Starr, Bad Boy Timz, Seyi Vibez, Ruger, Black Sherif and others.
Tributes were also paid to deceased artistes and their loved ones which included Sound Sultan, Ifeanyi Adeleke (Davido’s Son), Rico Swavey, Obama DMW and others.
Nigerian artistes, Asake, Fireboy DML, Ruger and others won awards in 12 different categories out of the 15.
Ghana’s Black Sherif won the Best Hip-Hop act of the year.
The young Ghanaian musician was nominated in the Best New Artiste, Best Collaboration, Best Hip hop, Listeners Choice and Viewers Choice Awards respectively.
The Soundcity MVP Awards was instituted in 2016 to recognize the hardworking talents in Africa.
