The Black Stars of Ghana will be honouring deceased Ghanaian player, Christian Atsu in their match against Angola.

This was revealed by the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum.

As Ghana prepares to face Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match, the GFA official disclosed in an interview with Original FM—which Newshuntermag.com has come across that the late Atsu will be honoured by his colleagues.

He said this will be an opportunity for Atsu’s services to be appreciated by the players of the senior national team of Ghana.

“All the Black Stars players are very sad about Christian Atsu’s death and the Black Stars will surely honour their late member Christian Atsu Twasam during our AFCON qualifier against Angola,” Henry Asante Twum revealed.

Christian Atsu sadly passed on following an earthquake in Turkey.

He will be laid to rest on March 17, 2023.
