The Black Princesses of Ghana have won the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Girls Cup.

Ghana broke the deadlock in the 38th minute when Stella Nyamekye successfully converted a penalty kick.

1-0, it ended in the first half of the game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Nigeria got an equalizer in the 84th minute to bring their hope of winning the trophy back to life.

No extra goals were scored after 90+4 minutes—so the winner was decided through penalty kicks.

Ghana won 3-1 on penalties to become champions of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Girls Cup.
