The Black Stars of Ghana showcased their prowess on the pitch today with a 3-1 victory in the friendly match against the Liberian team at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The national team did not disappoint fans who had shown up to witness the game and provide support despite bad weather conditions.

The first half of the game ended in a stalemate. This however changed when Ernest Nuamah set the tone by landing the first goal in the net in the 52nd minute of the second half.

Mohammed Kudus followed suit by executing a brilliant goal putting Ghana in a comfortable lead, and in the last 10 minutes of the match, Jordan Ayew also found the back of the net.

Moments before the referee blew the final whistle to bring the game to a close, the Liberian team managed to secure one consolation goal through Divine Teah, bringing the scoreline to 3-1.

Today’s victory is the second the Black Stars have witnessed in the past week, having already secured a win over the Central African Republic last Thursday in their final game of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
