The election for the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA) Chairmanship is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
The Liberation Barracks in Sunyani will host the activity, with the Elective Congress beginning at 9 a.m.
Dr. Charles Osei Antoh, Meshack Asante Ameyaw, and Dickson Kyere-Duah are the three candidates contesting for the Chairmanship, hoping to get the nod to lead BARFA for the next four years.
The Elections Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) engaged in early discussions with the candidates.
A resolution was made to have the GFA confirm the prior season’s participation of the eight teams seeking a place on the delegates list.
It was also decided that the election of representatives to the BARFA Executive Council will take place after the Chairmanship election has been concluded.
