Black Stars Coach Chris Hughton has named his 23-man squad in the friendly games with Mexico and the United States of America.

The matches are part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.

Andre Ayew, Baba Rahman, and Baba Iddrisu have all been dropped from the new squad in the upcoming friendlies.

Thomas Partey will make a comeback after a knee injury that saw him absent from the recent matches against the Central African Republic and Liberia.

Tariq Lamptey will also be returning to the squad following an injury during the last international break.

Ghana’s showdown with Mexico is slated for October 14 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina and on October 17, the team will take on the United States of America in Nashville, Tennessee.
