Ghana’s coach, Chris Hughton, has announced the Black Stars final squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023).
He unveiled his final 27-man squad for the AFCON 2023 at a press conference held at the Alisa Hotel.
Notable among them were Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Daniel Amartey and others.
However, Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Baba Rahman, Fatawu Issahaku and Kamaldeen Sulemana were not called for this tournament.
Three local players, Kotoko’s Richmond Lamptey and two players from Medeama, Hamid Abdul Fatawu and Jonathan Sowah were part of the squad.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023) will take place at Cote d’Ivoire from January 13, 2024.
