Dabone Family Supports 500 Persons With Disabilities In Dormaa Municipality

Dabone Family in Dormaa Ahenkro have dined with 500 persons with
disabilities in the Dormaa Municipality, which is located in the Brong
Ahafo Region of Ghana.
Spoke person of family, Atta Dabone told the News Hunter Daily
Magazine that, the Dabone Family have over the pass five (5) years
organized this end of year feast for disables in the municipality,
which includes; Dormaa West, Dormaa East and Dormaa Central.
"God will reward everyone according their works, and my family will do
whatever we can to support the needy each year."
He noted that, the family will soon provide them with wheel chairs as promised.
Municipal Chief Executive of Central, Hon. Gordon Asubonteng charged
the persons with disabilities to build self-confidence, belief in
themselves and also have hope.
"People will not respect you, if you don't belief in yourselves."
He said God knows what's good and therefore advised the society not to
look down upon them.
"Government have giving us GHC 58, 911.55 which will benefit 68
persons with disabilities, and that will cater for their income
generating activities, school support and health care," Hon. Gordon
Asubonteng announced.
He pledged to build an office for Ghana Federation of the Disables in
the municipality, before he ends his term as the Municipal Chief
Executive of the area.
