Abusuapayin Chiki, a close associate of Kumawood actor Joseph Nana Osei Kofi popularly known as Wayoosi has shot down reports that the latter has died.
Social Media has been flooded with reports that the Kumawood star has passed away but according to Chiki there’s no iota of truth in such reports.
“Wayoosi is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. He is recuperating and may be discharged very soon. His condition is not critical,” Abusuapayin Chiki told Ark Fm’s Afia Aboagyewaa in an interview.
He disclosed that the Kumawood star was admitted at the hospital last week.
This is the second time that the death of Wayoosi has been speculated—A fake report emerged in 2013 that his legs has been amputated—of which he came out to deny at the time.
