The CEO of B.A United FC, Mustapha Riga has lamented on the performance being showcased by his players in the ongoing Division One League in the country.

The former Levante attacker speaking with Ark Fm’s Alhaji Yahaya said the players have not performed well if you match their performance to their rivals Tano Bofoakwa.

He averred that the players have not put in their maximum best despite the efforts of the management team.

“This season I feel that we have been cheated by our own players. I didn’t like the mentality of our players if you compare them to Bofoakwa and other teams. I scored ten goals at Levente even when I hadn’t been paid for one season. Ask yourself how many goals that they have scored. “

He admitted that the team owns the players a certain amount of salaries but that should not account for their abysmal performance.

“It is embarrassing that they have not even scored five (5) simple goals. They should look in the mirror and justify whether they have given back to the club.”

Mustapha Riga emphasized the need for them to give their all to ensure the success of the club.

The CEO who plies his trade in Netherlands while steering the affairs of the club said some of the players do not qualify to be with team.

“Some of them will not even wear the boot of the team…let alone wear the jersey if I were in Ghana,” he stated.

The Apostles of Power Soccer currently sits on the seventh (7) position with thirty six (36) points on the Division One Zone 1 league log.
