More Musical Shows Will Improve Tourism In Ghana – Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, Stonebwoy, has stated that one of the ways to improve tourism in the country is the organization of more musical shows.
He lamented that musical shows in the country currently, is not enough.

“More of these shows must happen so that we can count about fifty shows for Ghana. This will improve tourism in Ghana and everyone will love to visit Ghana because of these shows like the way everyone wants to be in Jamaica and UK for all their big shows,” Stonebwoy
said this at the launch of the 2018 ‘Ghana meets Naija’
Stonebwoy often ragga in Jamaican Patois (Patwa or Patwah), and is considered a “multifaceted rapper” due to the various musical styles he possesses. In 2015, he received many awards and nominations ranging from “Artist of the Year” to “Album of the Year”. His sophomore album, Necessary Evil, was the recipient of 3 Ghana Music Awards from 6 nominations.
He released the ‘Epistles of Mama’ album, which was dedicated to his late mother by name Mrs Catherine Lucy Aku Ametepi Satekla on December 12, 2017; The 24 track album features Sean Paul, King Promise, Burna Boy. The album has been listed on the Billboard chart.
Stonebwoy established the ‘Livingstone Foundation’. In January 2017 the foundation announced a sponsorship package for five students of the Tema Methodist Day Senior High School, his alma mater.
