Rufftown Records artiste, Fantana has replied to her critics who trolled her for exposing her sanitary pad when performing at the 2019 edition of Reign Concert and the launch of Shatta Wale’s ‘Wonder Boy’ album.

In a press statement received by www.newshuntermag.com, the ‘Girls Hate On Girls’ singer gave a detailed account on what happened to her before she mounted the stage.

“I refused to let my menses stop me from performing when I felt it was coming 30 minutes before I went on the stage last Saturday at the fantasy dome.

“Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating,” part of the statement read.

Fantana, therefore, urged women to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation.

“I hope some people will read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women,” she added.
