President Akufo-Addo has reacted to Black Satellites’ U-20 AFCON victory.
The under 20 side of Ghana defeated their Ugandan counterparts at the finals of the 2021 U-20 African Cup of Nations at Mauritania.
After two goals to nothing victory, President Akufo-Addo in a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com congratulated the team for their performance.
He emphasized that they have made Ghana proud.
President Akufo-Addo disclosed his readiness to meet the playing, technical and management teams at the Jubilee House.
“Congratulations to the Black Satellites for winning Ghana’s 4th AFCON U-20 trophy. Thoroughly deserved victory, and they’ve made Mother Ghana proud. What a way to celebrate our 64th Independence Anniversary!! Kudos to the team, and I look forward to receiving the playing, technical and management teams to Jubilee House,” he wrote on Facebook.
