The Ghana Police Service has exhumed the intestines of one of the victims in the Abesim murder case.
This was made known in a statement that Newshuntermag.com has received.
The statement detailed that the Criminal investigations Department (CID) headquarters team that is investigating the Abesim murder case on Tuesday, August 24 2021 discovered a place where the suspect, Richard Appiah buried the intestines of one of the murder victims.
“The intestines were buried in a cocoa farm in Abesim which the Police have since exhumed for pathological analysis and forensic examinations in Accra.
“The investigation team has also worked around a septic tank and other places of concern for further examinations.
“Two sharp cutlasses with blood stains used by the suspect to commit the crime were retrieved from the scene,” part of the statement read.
28-year-old Richard Appiah was arrested on Saturday, August 22, 2021, after human parts were found in his refrigerator at Abesim in the Bono Region.
