The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has consoled Dr Mahamudu Bawumia following his mother’s death.
The Vice President sadly announced the demise of his mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia in a statement on Monday morning.
He indicated that she will be buried at Walewale on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
On the back of this, Mr Mahama in a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com revealed he has called Dr Bawumia via a phone call.
He prayed to Allah to give Hajia Mariama a peaceful rest.
“I just got off the phone with my brother, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to console him and the entire family on the loss of their mother, Hajia Mariama Bawumia earlier this morning.
May Allah grant her a peaceful rest,” Ex-President John Mahama wrote.
