Ghanaian musician, Samini, couldn’t hold back his tears as he recounted his memory of the late Sonni Balli on TV.

While talking about the deceased musician in an interview with Kafui Dey on GTV, Samini shed tears.

He recounted the help that Sonni offered to him in a section of the interview that Newshuntermag.com has come across.

Samini recalled he was put on shows by the late musician. At a point, Sonni’s group thought he was bringing him as a new member.

An optimistic Samini said he once told Sonni Balli that he will one day travel to the United Kingdom even though he does not have a visa and he doesn’t know anyone there.

He stated that he was going to do that through his music.

Lo and behold, Samini got the opportunity to be in the UK for the first time and when Sonni saw him, he averred he is a hard guy.

This memory, according to Samini, led to him crying live on TV.

Samini further described Sonni Balli as a brother.
