“He’s An Apology Of A Referee” – Saddick Adams Says As He Calls On FIFA To Review And Suspend The Referee Who Officiated Ghana And Portugal’s World Cup 2022 Match

Popular Ghanaian Sports Journalist, Saddick Adams, otherwise known as Sports Obama, is calling on the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) to take penalize Referee Ismail Elfath.
Referee Ismail Elfath has been heavily criticized following how he handled Ghana and Portugal’s match in the World Cup 2022.
A lot of Ghanaians and sympathizers of Ghana have spoken against the penalty awarded to Portugal.
They also think that João Félix was in an offside position when he scored against the Black Stars of Ghana.
The referee’s refusal to check the VAR despite a massive protest by the Ghanaians has been questioned.
Responding to this, Saddick told the world football governing body to review and suspend the referee.
He indicated that this is a public protest.
Saddick Adams tweeted: “Dear @FIFAcom, this is a public protest asking you to review and suspend this referee, Ismail Elfath.
He’s an apology of a referee and shouldn’t be doing this at this level. Game changing decisions without remorse.”
Portugal narrowly secured a 3-2 victory against Ghana in their Group H opener of the World Cup 2022.
