World Cup 2022: Iran Stunningly Grabs 2 Late Goals Against Wales

The Group B match of the World Cup 2022 between Wales and Iran has ended.

Wales goalkeeper, Wayne Hennessey, was sent off for a brutal challenge on Mehdi Taremi in the 86th minute.

Both teams could not score at the end of 90 minutes of play. However, Iran’s players were dominant in the second half.

Nine minutes of stoppage time were added on.

After 90+8 minutes, Rouzbeh Cheshmi put the Iranians ahead.

The game was not over yet for Iran as Ramin Rezaeian extended their lead to 2-0 within the stoppage time.

This comes after England whipped Iran by 6-2 in their opening match.

The Iranian coach, Carlos Queiroz, made five changes in his starting squad.
