Ghanaian fashion designer, Saeed Alhassan Tariq, also known as Kenzy, has revealed the benefit of being an artisan.
He told Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku in a discussion on Unlimited Chat With K.O.K how he has benefited from his work as an artisan.
The Sunyani-based fashion designer recalled his mother’s influence on him to learn a trade at a time he was interested in pursuing a music career.
Kenzy De-Designer said he pay heed to his mother’s advice to learn the trade.
He started learning from his uncle before moving to Tema to learn more.
Known by his stage name Kenzy, the industrious fashion enthusiast divulged in the interview aired on Top City TV that he used the name which many people knew during his day as a musician to establish his fashion brand in 2014.
He stressed that everything he has gained in life, getting married, building a house and others, came through his artisan work.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kenzy Fashion Institute also opened up on the number of people he has helped through fashion.
Mr Alhassan Tariq concluded that learning a trade or being an artisan is beneficial and lucrative.
