Ghanaian media personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger, has given a piece of advice to Ghanaian parents living abroad.
The outspoken comedienne advised these parents to train their children well in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com.
She argued that success is not all about money—so they should not ignore the welfare of their children.
Her advice was on the back of a report that a young Ghanaian girl in the United Kingdom stabbed her bestie after she allegedly slept with her boyfriend.
Afia Schwarzenegger further advised young girls not to throw away their future for a man.
She wrote: “A Ghanaian for that matter ..Dear young girls, Don’t throw away your future for a man..I repeat, don’t throw away your future for a man. This is very shameful and sad.
Ghanaian parents living in abroad…success is not all about money, a successful parent raises successful, well trained children for society.
Running up and down to catch the bus/train to be on time( money, money, money) and ignoring the welfare of your children will lead to this… this is an act of low self-esteem. Have time for your children, build their confidence, train them well, teach them christ… no God fearing teenager will stab her friend over a man. ‘Spare the rod and visit your child in jail/cemetery.’”
