Court Grants Lilwin GHS 50,000 Bail Following His Arrest Over Kumasi Car Accident

Lilwin has been granted bail by the Asokore Mampong District Court following his arrest.
The popular Kumawood actor, known in private life as Kwadwo Nkansah, was arrested on Monday, June 3, 2024.
His arrest followed his car accident at Amakom in Kumasi which took the life of a 3-year-old boy.
Shortly after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Lilwin was arrested.
He was arraigned before the court after his statement was taken at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command.
Following his first court appearance, Lilwin was granted GHS 50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court.
The case has therefore been adjourned to June 27, 2024.
Following the sad incident, the family of the young boy who perished in the accident are demanding justice.
