‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie produced by Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lilwin, has landed a distribution deal.
The movie will be distributed at cinemas across Africa.
This was announced by Ray Moni, the manager of the actor.
In a screenshot shared on Facebook, Lilwin’s team and Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution Limited were to have discussions about the forthcoming distribution.
An email, sent by Odunlami Olajide, the Content Acquisition Assistant of the company, disclosed that the ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie will be distributed on July 9, 2024, at 1 PM.
Ray Moni stated that the movie will be the first Kumawwod movie to hit international theatres following the distribution deal.
This comes after Lilwin’s ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie was nominated in the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival a few weeks ago.
The premiere of the movie in Accra was successful. Unfortunately, Lilwin and a section of his team members were involved in a car accident in Kumasi when they were gearing up for a premiere.
Sadly, a three-year-old boy perished after the car accident.
The famous Ghanaian actor is currently facing the court over the accident.
