There is a new account of the murder of some individuals at Abesim in the Bono Region.
28-year-old Richard Appiah was arrested about a week ago as the prime suspect.
Human parts were found in his fridge with another person laying lifeless in a room following a search by the police.
The suspect was remanded after his appearance before the Kaneshie district court.
While he is waiting to reappear before the court on September 15, Newshuntermag.com has come across a fresh account.
Eunice Yeboah Asuama, the mother of one of the victims, Stephen Sarpong, believes the suspect is a serial killer.
“The suspect joined us to search for my son; we never suspected he was the one who had killed him. if it wasn’t for my son’s death; we would never have arrested him because he has killed many people.
“In this room, they found women braziers, school uniforms. Does he sell braziers? So, I believe my son sacrificed his life for this killer to be exposed for the safety of all,” she sadly told Joy News.
A resident also narrated the last time he saw one of the victims, Louis Agyemang, with the suspect, a day before he disappeared.
“About 3.30 pm on Thursday, I saw the suspect and one of the boys he killed walked past this road, the boy was holding a bottle of water and coke with his bag strapped behind him. I thought the boy was his brother until the next day when we heard he has killed him,” he said.
