2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Inaki Williams Snatches Late Winner For Ghana As They Defeat Madagascar 1-0

Ghana has beaten Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a 2026 World Cup qualifier match.

The first half of the game ended without a goal from both sides.

Madagascar were impressive in the match as their goalkeeper Adrien Melvin made some important saves.

Looking at the demeanour of the away team, they would have been comfortable if no goal was registered.

But Inaki Williams finally scored for Ghana after 90+6 minutes with a wonderful header. It’s his first goal for Ghana since he joined the team.

His goal was vital and enough for the Black Stars of Ghana to carry all the 3 points.

Ghana is looking forward to booking a ticket for the 2026 World Cup—and I might say it’s a long journey.

The 2026 World Cup will be hosted by Mexico, the United States of America and Canada.
