The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, has responded to the Black Stars’ 3-2 win against South Korea.
A goal from Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus’ brace helped Ghana to get its first victory in the World Cup 2022.
The Group H match was full of tension.
In a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, President Akufo-Addo stated that he is proud of the entire team.
He further talked about the ‘alloyed support’ given to the Black Stars by Ghanaians.
President Akufo-Addo is hopeful about Ghana snatching a win against Uruguay in their next group match of the World Cup 2022.
He wrote on Facebook: “Kudos to the Black Stars. Hard fought, but thoroughly well-deserved victory against South Korea. Proud of the entire team and the unalloyed support given to them by all Ghanaians. Now to the final group stage game against Uruguay. #WeCanDoIt #GoBlackStarsGo.”
