Portugal has beaten Switzerland to progress to the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2022.
The Portuguese grabbed a whopping 6-1 victory against the Swiss.
Gonçalo Ramos contributed three goals to help Portugal’s thrashing of the Swiss. He scored in the 17th, 51st and 67th minutes.
Before his hat-trick, Pepe header into the net in the 33rd minute of the game.
Raphaël Guerreiro was also among Portugal’s scorers—as he registered his goal in the 55th minute.
Switzerland got a consolation goal in the 58th minute through Manuel Akanji.
Rafael Leão, who came in as a substitute, scored the 6th goal for the Portuguese within 90+2 minutes.

Portugal will play against Morocco in the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2022 on Saturday, December 10.
Earlier, Morocco won 3-0 on penalties when they faced Spain in a round of 16 match.
